Hello, dear brothers and sisters, we greet each of you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! We are honored to be in the same eternal family with all of you who know our Master and our King. And what a unique and powerful King He is: no other ruler or authority or prince, seen or unseen, stands over Him in His presence! He is King of kings! He is Lord of lords! Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:5-11).
And how utterly fortunate we are that He loves us with an unmerited, everlasting love – a love of kindness and tender mercies (Psalm 136).
Our Heavenly Father has demonstrated His unrivaled, magnanimous love, to all who would see, by giving His Only Begotten Son, this Jesus Christ, as The Sacrifice to satisfy and end all legal demands of His Just Law, the Law that stands in judgment against our sinfulness and rebellion. Our Father, Creator of Heaven and Earth, has decreed that anyone who would humbly take His Gift by putting their faith in Christ, shall not suffer eternal punishment but have everlasting life (John 3:16)!
This life shall flow like a river out of our innermost being (John 7:37-39)! …a River of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost (Rom 14:17, 15:13)! What a gift! What a gift! Imagine!!! This is worthy of our repeated long and deep thoughtful consideration…consideration that blossoms fresh and new fruit in our hearts to His glory and honor (Psalm 19:14; Philippians 4:8; Hebrews 3:1)!
Do you want to see your lost loved ones saved? Do you have friends who do not know Jesus? Are there neighbors around you who need the Lord? Seek the Author of the Gospel to guide you and give you just the words of wisdom to speak, or the patient gesture to make, or the loving deed to do, or the interceding prayer to pray in every opportunity He gives you with them.
Are you involved in nursing home ministry? We know you must be focused on being a blessing to the elderly and infirm. We pray with you that our Heavenly Father, by the power of His Holy Spirit within you, grant you a special anointing to share with them this huge message about the Good News of Jesus Christ.
This message is a drink of cool water to parched hearts who believe in Christ but struggle with the suffering they feel so ill prepared for. Soothe their thirsty, weary souls with the Truth! This message is transforming light to blind eyes that have spent a lifetime looking away, distracted from the Truth and the Love of the Gospel. Be the bearer of eternally Good News to their lost and dying souls.
Certainly, as we are being changed into His likeness (2 Corinthians 3:17-18) by His operation in our hearts (however slow that change may seem to us) we are His ambassadors (2 Corinthians 5:17-21) to this world of confusion and quiet despair. We, His children, are the light of the world. Let Your Light Shine! (Matt 5:14-16)
