Here is a collection of downloadable word search puzzles that use scriptures from the Bible as their source. Answer key sheets are also provided for download. This is another on-going Christian Concourse Ministry project aimed at blessing our long-term care population with tools to help them focus on God’s Word. Our experience is that word search puzzles are very popular among seniors and shut-ins. We fashion our puzzles around passages in the King James Version (some lightly edited for clarity to the modern reader). Each puzzle draws from several of the individual words in the quoted scripture (the words in bold type) to make up the vocabulary hidden in the letter grid. This being a growing addition to the resources we provide for nursing home ministry, we would appreciate your feedback via text, email or phone. ENJOY!
Note: the bold words in the scripture quoted underneath the puzzle will be included among the letters in the puzzle. They may be either horizontal, vertical or diagonal. Also, the words may be spelled either forward or backward. Sometimes, the same letter will be used by more than one word.
