Christian Concourse Ministry Newsletter – December 2021

Dear Friends,

We thank the Lord Jesus for each one of you, for your friendship, for your prayers and for your practical, generous support in finances to this nursing home ministry! And, we praise the Father in this festive season of joyful celebration for sending us His only begotten Son, Messiah, Jesus, Emmanuel! God with us!

The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth. John 1:14

What an immeasurable gracious gift that the Father has given us: He looked upon our self-destructive state of rebellion and sin, and has taken it upon Himself to pay for our redemption by the sacrifice of the blood of His dear Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ.

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:29

And having completed His work for the salvation of all who believe in Him, the Messiah returned to the Father’s side to ever intercede for us, and He sent Holy Spirit to dwell in us, to teach us, to comfort us, and to seal our eternal life in Him!

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. John 14:18 & 20

Dear Sister, dear Brother, dear fellow child of God, wherever you are in your walk with Christ, however long you have been on this Christian pilgrim journey, whatever the struggles and trials you face on your pathway keep your gaze steady on Who Jesus is – He is God With Us! You are not alone! You are among a great host of Christians who walk and talk with the same Lord, the same Holy Spirit, the Same Father, the Same Savior as you do.

As God’s children we have a great privilege to be an encouragement to the faith of our fellow Christians and a light pointing to Jesus for those in our life who do not know the Lord yet. Are you involved in some form of ministry like to jails, the homeless or nursing homes? Are your family members, neighbors and friends who are not in Christ watching you day in and day out? Your testimony of the Master’s faithfulness and your trust in Christ may be a crucial breath of fresh air for their faith in God’s love. God is with us! He has not left us without the comfort of His abiding love and His guiding hand.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Love in Christ,

Jerry and Dar Johnson
